Default SP2 annoyance

When ever I want to view things like .PDF (among many other things) the
browser blocks it.

They (Microsoft) tell me how to get rid of these constant blocks and I've
followed their directions but the browser still blocks the simplest stuff
like .PDF. Even after following their directions.

Is there a setting I can change to make the browser leave me alone and stop
these constant blockings? At least on the simple stuff like PDF's.

I have another computer with SP1 and this never happens. It only happens on
the SP2 machine.

Thanks.

Msoft added this to SP2 Internet Explorer to try and prevent bogus trojans
etc. and bad Active X runing without your knowledge...basically added to
protect most of the less knowledgable users.

The fact is that if people had up-to-date anti virul etc. etc. it wouldn't
be needed but we all know that and its a waste of time moaning about it.

I changed my brower from IE6 to Mozilla Firefox 1.0 - which I have to say
that, now I'm use to the small different bits works very well. Have a look
he http://www.mozilla.org/products/firefox/ - by no means am I saying IE6
is bad but I just find Mozilla a better browser for experience surfers.

Hope this helps - please let me know by rating this thread.
