Default .TMP files

There are several hundred files *.TMP which
Symantec Clean Sweep found in C:\Windows...
and in c:\windows\System32..........
and they recommend deleting. Any reason for keeping
them?

Usually not, any that are "in use" will not allow themselves to be deleted.
