Default Windows live messenger 8.0 beta

i downloaded this new version of msn messenger, it said windows live
messenger. While I was able to log in, my brother could not. he was not
qualified for the beta version. is there any way to have both 8.0 and 7.5 at
the same time, or make it possible for him to use 8.0 without being selected?

thanks in advance

you will recieve invites so you can invite your brother too....

if you want an invite faster I can send you one if you give me your email
(but if you post it here make sure you write it so you wont get spam, for
example:
email[remove this to remove spam]at gmail dot com

You can run 7.5 along side of 8 if you copy the folder of the 7.5
installation,
and run that first, then run 8 if you want...
So you will have a "stand alone" version of 7.5 and an installed version of
8 at the same time

it works similar to google maile beta...

you invite him and an email is sent, he clicks on a link and logs in, then
his passport is upgraded
to log into msn messenger live too. He doesnt have to do it right away!

Greetings,

You do not need invites any more, he simply needs to "sign up" his Passport here.
