Default Can't turn off Dell Printer

When I switch my computer off, my printer still seems to be on, with a light
showing. Could someone help me to solve this problem.
Thanks

The printer will remain powered as long as the power supply is going to it.
It doesn't matter if the PC is off or on, the printer is a separate device.
Use its own on/off switch to turn it off, if that is what you want.
