Default Volume icon and toolbar???

WinXP

This just started happening and wondering if i have a 'potential' problem or
not.

When I restart my sytem, two things have started happening.

The volume icon in lower right is not showing even though it checked in
control panel-sound & audio devices.
I uncheck it, apply, and recheck, apply and it shows up.

The other is the Language Bar is showing up on the toolbar. The only toolbar
I have ever had checked is Quick Launch.
Now the LB is checked upon restarts.

Neither are that big of a problem but is it anything to worry about?

how to correct, please.
thanks,

Set audio as you did in sounds, however open start/task bar options, task bar,
advanced (customize),click on the speaker, select either "always show" or
other..Also,R.click on the language in task bar, select do not load on start
up,
or edit in start/task bar properties.
