print from vista to xp

I have a wireless routed vista laptop that I just recently purchased and I
have a hpdeskjet 920c printer attached to my windows xp desktop that is
shared on a local network. I went to my vista laptop and ran the add printer
wizard and it located and connected to my hp printer. When I sent a test page
to the xp printer I noticed that it showed up in the printer queue for a
second and then nothing printed out. Any suggestions ???
