Default lost disk to re install my printer

Ive recently got a new cpu, but I kept my printer. Its a lexmark 3 in 1
(lexmark X1160). I am now finding it very difficult to install it without
the disk that it came with. Is it possible to install it any other way? Any
help would be gratefully aprieciated.

Thank You

Yes of course there is. Go to the Lexmark website and find the drivers for
your printer, download and install them.

I have the same problem its a Lexmark Z601 and I don't have my disk. I have
gotten the driver and I unzipped it but still when installing the printer the
Z601 is not listed and there isn't an option to browse for the driver so I'm
stumped. Please how can I select the downloaded driver when going through the
'add printer' wizard?

You told us what did not happen but not what did happen. For some downloaded
files, when you extract them, all that happens is that a directory is
created and the installation files are placed in it and the extraction ends.
The file might contain an installer but it does not automatically start. You
have to note where the files are placed, navigate to that directory and run
the setup or install program.

Let us know what happened when you extracted the files and someone might be
able to help.
