Default network printer setup

I have a desktop computer running xp. It's connected to a linksys router with
an ethernet cable. I have a laptop running vista home premium. I have a HP
PSC2355 connected to the desktop with a USB cable. How can I set this up to
print from the laptop wirelessly?

First remember to share the printer out, then it should be 'seen' by the
Vista PC.

I have shared the printer on the desktop, but the vista laptop still can't
see it.

Have you tried connecting to it using \\NameOfXPPC\Printer (where
NameOfXPPC = the Name of the XP PC on the Network and Printer = the Shared
Name of the Printer)

You are sure the shared name of the printer doesn't have any spaces or
illegal characters in it? (stuff like ?*! etc)

You've remembered to enable File and Print Sharing in the XP PC?
