Default Cannot Open Vista Attachment in XP

Help! I cannot open Attachments sent to my Yahoo Mail from a Vista Computer.
Power Point Attachments lead me to a blank PPT document. I get an error
Message when I try to open a PDF file. Is there a patch for this.
Thanks

What version of PowerPoint are you sending from and what version are
you trying to use to open the Yahoo attachment?

Sending from PowerPoint 2007 will cause problems since Microsoft has
changed the default document format from PPT to PPTX (xml based.)

As for PDF, you must be running the latest Adobe Acrobat Reader.
