Can the day, weekday be shown on the clock
Normal taskbar display for the clock is just time.
I have expanded the taskbar to 2 lines (which is gaudy) and it now shows the date, day, and time all in 3 rows. I sure would like to get at least time and date or time and date. Anyone know of a solution? Ideally it would be nice to expand the width not the height.

Hover your mouse over the bar and once it goes to double arrow drag the bar up as Big Al says it looks gaudy, I use TClock like SoCalCommie suggested -- Tricia

Forget Tclock, AlfaClock Free version 1.90 is the best.

When the pop-up menu appears look towards the bottom for the line Lock The Taskbar, if there is a check mark beside it your taskbar is locked. Clicking on that line of text will toggle the lock on or off. When you unlock the taskbar, it will have a slightly different appearance from it's locked state. Then hover the pointer at the top until it changes to a double arrow, then click the left mouse button and make it as big as you want it.

Download.com played a fast one on you and gave
you version 1.99. Version 1.90 is the only unrestricted free version. I searched for 1.90, and after an hour I found only one download link. All others linked to 1.99. This one is confirmed, by me, to be 1.90. I don't know when this started because version 1.90 was widely available about a year ago. I strongly suggest you save a copy to CD, as this best copy is quickly disappearing. MD5 hash: 91AE8286A72D43123941BE360832A636 against a copy that I saved long ago. If somehow you didn't, I could upload it somewhere. I wonder, could I attach it to a Newsgroup message? Should I?
