Cannot open Windows Search 4.0 Indexing Options

Running XPSP3 Pro, have installed and reinstalled Windows Search 4.0 several
times, ran Registry cleaners and removed files, but, although it installs,
and, seems to work (in at least OutLook 2007 SP2), and says indexing
complete, I cannot open the indexing options, either from the SysTray or the
GUI window (it appears to stop and think, but, never opens). No errors in
event log.

I have it working on another, similar XP computer, just fine.

Any ideas?
