Reinstall XPHome/SP2
I'm helping a friend install a new HD replacing
a crashed drive. I'd appreciate a link to a URL for downloading SP2 (Not SP3). Thank you. |

Thank you. www.google.com "xp sp3 download" Enter First result will do: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/d...displaylang=en Don't really understand why you didn't do something like this yourself. It's quicker than making your post then waiting and checking for replies! |

If everyone will do it and find everything themselves then there would be no newsgroups such as this. No newsgroups like this *because* everyone is managing to find their
solutions another way isn't necessarily bad - although it's not going to happen, IMO. At least William may now have some idea for a way of finding out answers more directly and speedily. You're agreeing that if EVERYONE looked elsewhere other than these newsgroups for answers, and found them (which premise I disagree with), then the groups would die out. Well, if they're not needed - so what? Sincerely, Grumpy (apparently) |
