Network share checking help
Hi Guys,
I need help working out how to check if a network share is available when a user log's on, such as \\pc1\user3 if that share is available Map the network drive to t: for example And then set the user's my documents path to t:\my_documents else set the user's my documents path to something local such as d:\user\ my_documents end if There is a bit more stuff I want to do with this, but this will get me started. -- Message posted via WindowsKB.com http://www.windowskb.com/Uwe/Forums....twork/200908/1 |

If exist \\server\share\nul {action} will generally achieve this, provided the server gives the 'dot' entries. (If not it will still work for all but an empty share) Have a look at http://mylogon.net for some hints on this and similar coding. The source is available.
