Default Error looks like Greek to me

I entered the following URL:

http://click.linksynergy.com/fs-bin/...&page_id=11166

I got he following notice:

"Firefox can't establish a connection to the server at localhost."

What the... I know I'm slow about networking, but this one REALLY puzzles
me. What has the one to do with the other?

This looks like a link-tracking site - is it listed in your HOSTS file by any
chance?

c:\windows\system32\drivers\etc\hosts

If so leave it there, the objective is to stop nasty snoopers.

Hm, you're probably right. I don't know _what_ handled it. It isn't in my
hosts file and my firewall works in a completely different way. The
reference back to LOCALHOST is a puzzler. Unless the site itself is just
playing around. Maybe it attempted to access my computer and ZA blocked
it - whereupon it issued a bogus error ... In that case I'd ask, "Who's
laughing now?" I'd love to apply the Louisville fix to some of these
morons.

Thanks
