Default Printer setup on XP to print through another computer with 2000

How can I get a computer with XP Professional to print
through another computer in a "workgroup" that is
operating on Windows 2000? This workgroup worked fine
when two computers were operating on Windows 2000, but not
that the guest computer is set up on XP Professional, I
can not get a print job through to the printer.

1.) Add the User Name and Password of the XP PC to be a User on the 2000
PC.

2. Ensure both PCs are on the same Workgroup and that each can 'see' each
other's files/folders

3. Share the printer on the 2000 PC - ensure that the shared name of the
printer is no longer than 12 characters/numbers and that there are NO SPACES
in it.

4. From the XP PC, use the Add Printer Wizard... browse the network and it
should find the printer on the 2000 PC.
