Default printer prints half page

I recently upgraded to XP Home and now my Epson printer
(Stylus Color880), prints half pages in many programs. I
talked with Epson tech support - uninstalled drivers,
reinstalled new ones, but it still does it and it's
random. I know someone else that recently upgraded to XP
and the same thing happened with their Canon printer. Does
this sound like an XP problem? Has anyone else had this
problem? Any other ideas to try. It happens when printing
Word Docs and Acrobat Docs, which I need to do, frequently.

Corrupted Drivers.... due to your having kept the printer connected during
the upgrade.
