Pls give more details of your PC setup, ie. OS, personal firewall, version
of Windows Messenger (WM). I've got a old PCI router (BRL-01A) and I have no problems connecting (video & voice) to others people. I have also worked with BLW-04EM & BRL-04AR and they work fine too. The following are a couple of things to try.... 1) Make sure u have the latest version of WM, ie. 4.7.2009 2) You may need to make sure UPnP is enabled on the router and both you & your contact are using the latest version of WM. Sometime WM to MSN Messenger may not work via a router, especial if MSN is 6 or below. 3) If u have Norton Personal Firewall or Norton Internet Security, try setting "Permit All" for Windows Messenger in the Program Control screen. If u have another brand, try disabling it and restarting WM. 4) Try disabling QoS for the appropriate interface or uninstall it. 5) Make sure u have the latest firmware (http://www.planex.net/support/downlo...d_blw04g.shtml) 6) If u have Windows XP, try enabling the built-in UPnP service. (Not recommend, but it may work) Good luck.
