XP and WORD - Won't follow Hyperlink
I am using XP Pro on my Thinkpad, and when using WORD 2003
and you come across a hyperlink, normally you hold the CNTL key down and click on the mouse, and it will display/take you to the link. However, with XP it gives an error message, displaying the link and saying it can't find the server. I'm pretty sure it's not connecting to the Internet. I wonder if anyone else has had this problem, or is it just my machine? Any suggestions? Thank you. |

Which Internet Browser you use and how it is configured ( / Tools / Options ) ? I have two browsers, IE Explorer and Firefox. Connection to internet is via home network w/router. I wonder if the McAfee Anti-Virus could be blocking access, but usually that pops open a little window asking permission. I tried looking in WORD to see if there is any option, but have yet to find anything. |
