HP Color Laser Jet 2600N printer question
I would like to print a poster on the above printer that has been compiled to
fit 8-1/2 x 17 paper, this is 3 inches longer than Legal size (8=1/2 x 14). Is there a way to get the printer to cooperate with this project, with hand feed? The poster is stored in my Documents folder and displays correctly on the screen. I use XP Pro, not sure what version but new last year. I am pretty computer-ignorant so would appreciate very explicit instructions for this or a place to find them. Thanks for any help. Kansas, in Chico CA |

HP Color Laser Jet 2600N printer question
If the print supports this odd paper size then mechanically it will. You
would need to create a new form in Printer Folder, File , Server Properties that covers this dimension. If the new form shows up in the printer properties or from within application then it's supported by the GPD. I was able to see the form using the CLJ 2605 Vista driver so here's hoping the 2600 has the same type of support. -- Alan Morris Windows Printing Team Search the Microsoft Knowledge Base he http://support.microsoft.com/search/?adv=1 This posting is provided "AS IS" with no warranties, and confers no rights.
