Default Printer error messages for Visual Studio 2008 Express Editions

Hi

I have a Canon MultiPASS C5500 multifunction inkjet printer.
I have Windows XP Home Edition with Service Pack 2.

After installing Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 Express Edition from the
Visual Studio 2008 Express Editions DVD, my printer can not print anything
from any where in Windows XP.
I have two different printer error messages.
When I try to print from Notepad, the error says "The handle is invalid".
When I try to print from any topic from Microsoft Visual Studio 2008
Documentation in Visual Studio 2008, I get the error saying "Internet Script
Error - An error has occurred in the script on this page. Line: 1829 ,
Char: 1, Error: Unspecified error, Code: 0, URL:
res://ieframe.dll/preview.dlg".
The Internet Script Error also happens when I try to print from Internet
Explorer 7.

How do I solve this printer problem?

Much Help Appreciated.

Thanks.
