Default Windows XP DHCP Client Option 26 (MTU)

Hi,

I am struggling on this for a while now and could not find an answer
anywhere on the web.

I like to make my Windows XP DHCP Client to request Option 26 (MTU) from my
DHCP-Server, but adding

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Servic es\Dhcp\Parameters\Options\26

KeyType DWORD 0x4

RegLocation MULTI_SZ

SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\Tcpip\Parameters \Interfaces\?\MTU
SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\TcpIp\Parameters \MTU

to the registry does not work. It seems like the DHCP-Client of XP does not
support this option?

Can anyone help me?
