BSOD: a theory based on observation -- not much more.
from observation, it seems that the times that i get a BSOD ("irq not less
than or equal") with the older hardware i have on early morning startup is when the house temperature has dropped to, and is about, 56 to 60 degrees and the hardware of the computer is cold. When that happens a power drain and restart does not fail to start normally (or has not so far). Is there anything to the idea of cold hardware not working properly? jim |

I don't know if this is hard for you to do, but I would do this the night before. http://www.reviversoft.com/blog/2012...less-or-equal/ If you are uncomfortable about making these kinds of changes to your computer, let us know. -- Bill Dell Latitude Slate Tablet 128GB SSD ('12 era) - Thunderbird v24.3.0 Intel Atom Z670 1.5GHz - 2GB RAM - Windows 8 Pro |
