Default mutilpass C555 w/xp

I cannot get my Canon Mutilpass c555 printer to work with
xp home edition.
Can somebody tell me what to do

Canon printers are very fussy about having their software installed BEFORE
the unit is connected to the PC, so if you've already tried connecting it,
run a complete uninstall first:

Download a new set of drivers from the Canon website at:
http://tinyurl.com/6rpu

If you have broadband, there's a single set of drivers XPC555... if you have
dial up, there's 9 separate smaller files to download.

Install the software and do NOT connect the unit until the software tells
you to do so.
