Default Cannot login to msn messenger error 0x80004005

Hi Lucia,
How do you conect to the internet ?
-----Original Message-----
I STILL CANNOT LOGIN to msn messenger. (Worst yet, I
cannot enter the hotmail site, because net.Passport does
not allow me in.) In any case, please someone, please
help.
Regarding answers to the same problem, I have checked
what was suggested by Jonathan (or whomever from
Microsoft is taking care of this group)posted a reply but
got no answer.
I need help. Anyone?
Please note:
1. The date in my computer is fine.
2. Password is correct.
3. I changed the password for passport. I can log in
without any problem (in net.passport)
4. I specifically aded MSN messenger with "permit all" in
my Norton 2003 Internet security (also in Norton
Antivirus)
5. I disabled and enabled firewall. I have no XP firewall
enabled.
6. I cleared IE cache and cookies
7. I checked the IE Security settings.
8, I used the RUN command as advised.
The reason I so much want to get MSN Messenger is that my
friends in France and in Brazil are using it. I am quite
frustrated. I would appreciate any further help!!! I am
using Windows XP Professional.
Thank you all.
