Default Selective startup

I know to access the startup in '98 you type "msconfig"
under "start' then "run."

What is the command to get to selective startup in XP home
addition.

Thanks..helping out a friend. Had no idea was the same
command. So I assume you still got to the startup tab and
can deselect whatever you dont need to having running in
the background.....correct ????? And then just reboot.

Try leaving out the chevrons from your post
It makes it easier to find the message.

I had to read your post several times before I discovered that
there was actually something new in it.
