Default screensaver shortcut

Right-click on your Desktop and select:
New Shortcut, then browse to the
C:\Windows\System32 folder. Chose
your desired screensaver, such as "sspipes.scr",
click next and finish.

My Pictures SlideShow would be "ssmypics.scr".

Go to Folder Options in Control Panel and change to single-click.
You are correct.....there is no screensaver password protection
when using a desktop shortcut to activate a screensaver.

ok. I guess I need a shortcut that will switch to the
secure desktop with no time delay. This would also enable
me to change the screensaver (in "display
properties/screensaver") without also having to change the
screensaver desktop shortcut. But how do I acheive this?
