Default Peer-to-peer network communications

We are an office of 6. All of our computers are networked together. We use
dial up for our internet through aol so we only have one email address. We
are looking for a way to have communication (like instant messaging) between
our computers on a peer-to-peer network without using an email address or
network address. How would we set this up? Thank you!

I don't know since I don't use them. Try Googling for "free lan
messenger software".
