Fail to install Display Drivers in my WinXP
Hi there,
I have already installed WINXP in my machine. After that, I've used my provided Acer distribution cd to install VGA so that I can have fine display when I watch my vcds. AFter intalling all that still the color is worst and when I watch any of vcd, they looks so worse!!! When I look at my computer settings, I find that there are only two colors. i.e 16bit and 32bit. Any one with help on this will be apprecited!!! Regards, Comfort. |

You might consider the original CD probably did not have XP drivers. Go to the
manufacturer's web site and look around for XP drivers. -- Mary Sauer MS MVP http://office.microsoft.com/ http://msauer.mvps.org/ news://msnews.microsoft.com "Comfort" wrote in message ... You should be able to view video adequately with either of those. Does the adapter work well with other multimedia content? You may be looking at the limitations of your hardware. Offer some more details about the hardware involved and some of the hardware gurus will surely pop up with ideas about how to improve the display. -- Sharon F MS-MVP ~ Windows Shell/User |

Update the video drivers from the manufacturer's website. Alternatively, if
you run Windows Update and choose the Custom option, you may see a hardware update available and that would likely be the video adaptor. Nevertheless, the manufacturer's website will have later updates than WU. -- Colin Barnhorst [MVP Windows - Virtual Machine] (Reply to the group only unless otherwise requested) "Comfort" wrote in message ...
