Default Can I use"Windows Messenger"to communicate with a"MSN Messenger"us

I prefer using Windows Messenger but I would like to know if there is any
problems when communicating with a MSN Messenger user.

I will appreciate any info on this matter.

It can. They both are sign-in to .Net Messenger Service.

Greetings,

They are backward compatible, although some of the new functionality within MSN Messenger
won't work with Windows Messenger clients (the MSN Messenger user will a message indicating
as such).
