Default philips cdd5101 cd-r/rw-dvd combo not working after re-boot?

i recently re-booted my computer from my recovery disk every thing works fine
exept my cd rom is not working!!! any help would be most gratefull.

Default philips cdd5101 cd-r/rw-dvd combo not working after re-boot?

If the burner was added, you should have a driver disk that came with it. If
it came with the computer, they probably included a driver disk. If you
don't have a driver disk, go to the burner mfg. page and download one.

i am sorry but i dont know what to do my computer says i dont have any
philips cd/dvd drives fitted, when i do!!! need more help!
