DVD Ram Disk
I have a question about the reading and burning DVD-RAM disks. What I want
to know is do I need a special drive for my computer or just a driver that will let my computer read a DVD-Ram disk that was written using a VCR-DVD Recorder from my TV equipment. I have made a project from my TV’s VCR/DVD recorder and now I find my computer cannot read it. I wanted to make copies to give to the family, but I did not want to copy the disk back to VCR then burn it back to DVD. I was afraid I would loose quality.

I can pay and read a DVD that was recorded from VCR/DVD recorder on my
computer unless it was made using a DVD-Ram disk. I can also play any DVD written from my computer on my VCR/DVD recorder. I just need to be able to read a DVD-Ram disk written on my VCR/DVD Recorder. I contacted Panasonic who made the VCR/DVD Recorder, they say I just need a driver, but I cannot find where to find one. It's possible that the problem is simply the disks, In my experience...some work better than others. I have not encountered this issue before so I do not have specific info for you. If it is, in fact.... a driver issue...it may be worth a try to search the support website of your DVD drive's manufacturer.
