printer spooler service is not running/stopped

Default printer spooler service is not running/stopped

Please, I need some help. I've tried to install printer cd, but it will not
let me. the message above is all i'm getting. I'm not sure what is wrong.

Default printer spooler service is not running/stopped

Click start then go to run type the followoing " services.msc " then click
ok. Once the window comes up scroll down to print spooler and make sure it
is running. If it is not running start the service.

Default printer spooler service is not running/stopped

I tried start the services -error message stating :could not start the print
spooler service on local computer. error 1068: the dependency service or
group failed to start.
