Default Video Problems

Hello I have some video files that I have downloaded from my Canon PowerShot
A710 IS camera. I have them on my computer and I was wondering how do I make
the files smaller to be able to send in emails. My emails say the files are
too large to send. They are .avi files. Please help me.

Also I have another question how do I burn those same videos onto a DVD. My
computer says it can burn them but it doesn't seem to work. I burned them
onto a CD-R and the sound was messed up on them. Can someone help me please?

==================================
Try importing the files into Movie Maker
and save in the .wmv format...

File / Save Movie File / E-mail / Next

I have a Canon also and using the steps I just
posted...I reduced a 66 MB file to 1 MB.

Be aware, the quality will be reduced.

Also you might try uploading your full sized
files to a site like one of the following and
send your recipients a link so they can
download the video at their convenience.

"YouSendIt"
http://www.yousendit.com/

"SendSpace"
http://www.sendspace.com/

==================================
To make Video DVDs you need DVD Authoring
software. Some examples a Nero, WinDVD
Creator, ProShow Gold, Roxio, ULead, etc...
