Recipient Name
Running WinXP SP2
Installed Microsoft Fax V 5.1 Running MS office 2003 using Outlook as the address book. email etc When I follow the steps of the Send Fax Wizard and get to the point where I click on Address Book and choose a recipient the program enters the recipient name as their email address. I can then click on Edit and change the Recipent Information to the name as in "File As" but is it not possible for the software to pick up the Name? How can it be that it would choose to address a fax to " rather than to "Joe Schmoe"? |

Recipient Name
You send an email to an email address, not a Fax.
A Fax has to be sent to a phone number using your PC's 56K internal or external modem. You cannot Fax using high speed DSL or Cable, unless you get special filters or use the eFax.com faxing service which is not free. -- XP - WNP Today is the first day of the rest of your life.
