Default Security Certificate Warning

Every once in awhile I get a pop up that says Security Certificate Warning.
Do you want to proceed, view, or install the certificate. What are these and
should I be installing them?
I am very new to the computer and don't know that if installing these I am
doing something wrong.
Any help would be appreciated!

Thanks

What are you doing when this happens?
In what program?
Tell us some more details. Try to use 200 words or more.
