Default Modem Detect

While upgrading from ME to XP, I found that my modem
wasn't being detected. Does anyone know why?

Default Modem Detect

Hi,

Is it on the compatibility list?
ftp://ftp.microsoft.com/services/whq...inxphclx86.txt

If so (and even if not), have you tried the Add Hardware Wizard in the =
control panel?
Checked for firmware update from the modem manufacturer?
Checked for driver update?
