machine chk: regs & net framework
hello, i installed a new copy of xp sp3 pro & in the event viewer i see
application popup maching chk regs 4x under system, i hers its amd issue? using AMD Athon XP. just annoying is there a way to clear it? What is this net frame work? i see 1.1 & 3.5 it need to update & install? is it necesary part of windows? what uses it i put it in my pc seems to slow it down a hair also. thanks |

The .net frameworks provide a library of standard code that is called by programs written with the particular version of .net. If that library isn't present, such programs won't run. Their presence does *not* slow anything down.
