machine chk: regs & net framework

hello, i installed a new copy of xp sp3 pro & in the event viewer i see
application popup maching chk regs 4x under system, i hers its amd issue?
using AMD Athon XP. just annoying is there a way to clear it? What is this
net frame work? i see 1.1 & 3.5 it need to update & install? is it necesary
part of windows? what uses it i put it in my pc seems to slow it down a hair
also.

The .net frameworks provide a library of standard code that is called
by programs written with the particular version of .net. If that
library isn't present, such programs won't run.

Their presence does *not* slow anything down.

Please, in the future, write your messages with standard
capitalization, punctuation, grammar, spelling, etc. Messages like
yours above are very difficult to read, and because of the difficulty,
I almost bypassed it completely.

..Net 1.x, 2.x and 3.x are not really required by XP but are required
by other software. You need to install each version as the "other"
software requires and each version are "stand-alone."
