Default --Desktop wallpaper

answer....
logon 'admin'...... and goto
display....desktop tab...[browse]....find your picture.
pick your picture.
pick [theme] tab
notice in the theme: [box] it should have (modified).
pick [save as] button...give file name (ex: name_desktop)
-----------------------------------
logon 'guest'
do same for 'guest'
-----------------------------------
do not move your picture or name_desktop theme files
keep them in same directory or where ever you want them.
if you change 'anything' in [display] properties window
you will have to repeat the [save as]...
------------------------------------
neat trick...
after you do all this... repeat the process but...

change display/desktop background to some picture
different then normal background. pick apply

change back to normal background. pick apply

shut off...pick restart...'temporary' background
should appear for about one second and then normal
shut off screen. upon restart-logon 'temporary'
will appear for one second.

-----Original Message-----
My wife and I like to have digital photos (of our
granddaughter, of course!) as our desktop wallpaper.
Initially, she was able to set any photo she wanted, and
I could do the same. Now, however, whenever one of us
sets a new photo as wallpaper, the same photo becomes

the
wallpaper of the other user. We are unable to find a

way
to get around this. The only way we are presently able
to tell which user is up is by the number and type of
icons located on the desktop.

It doesn't seem to matter whether we go through Control
Panel or use our preferred digital photo program MS
Digital Image Pro v7; the result is the same.

We have XP Home Edition

Any help you could provide would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Dave
.
