Default System Configuration GETTING RID OF JUNK!!

Here's what you need to do...
1. Reboot your computer and don't open anything up.
2. On you desktop or start menu, right click on my
computer than click on explore.
3. Click on "C" drive so you can see your dir.
4. Go down the list untill you find the dir. that the
program is in.
5. Next right click on the dir., than click on properties.
6. Uncheck the attributes of ready only and all sub-files.
7. Now you can right click on dir. and click delete.
8. Reboot your computer and check to make sure dir. was
delted by follow steps above.
You might have to do it twice, some of those programs are
a pain in the wazoo. But, the above info should work. Good
Luck

Somebody Please Help!!!!!!!
I am kinda new to computers, in March of this year, I
purchased, this $950.00 computer (Hp, w/ windows XP).
Well, last week somone suggested that I do a check
for "spyware", I did and yes I was having a kazillion
popups, even when I WASNT on the internet.
I found all of the programs, and I found even
more in the System Configuration.
Here is my problem, when I try to uninstall, a
box pops up telling me that I can't b/c, it is
copyrighted and/or somone else is using it.
In addition in the System Configurations box I
don't see any way to delete the stuff that hides in my
computer.

Did I spend all of this money to be told that I
can't delete something, which I did'nt know was even
there.

It was suggested to download a program
called "spyblaster", that is the biggest joke, It came
with over 300 pop-ups, (later I was told that , that is
called a backdoor program, after, sending them a not so
nice e-mail, they finally told me how to remove their so
called program.

CAN SOMEONE HELP ME TO GET RID OF THIS JUNK
IN MY COMPUTER. PLEASE.
.
