Default Customized icons changing

I have changed some icons graphics for icons (picked from
Windows\system folder). Works okay til I reboot then they
show up as "Windows default icon". If I just open "My
Computer" then close it, the icons revert to the changed
icons... Any ideas?

Default Customized icons changing

Hi Larry,

After changing them, try ending the process on Explorer.exe in the Task
Manager, the re-run it. If that doesn't help, run this edit:

Save Settings on Exit (Line 54)

To use the Regedit: Save the REG File to your hard disk. Double click it
and answer yes to the import prompt. REG files can be viewed in Notepad by
right clicking on the file and selecting Edit.
