Dial-up Connection Window
You have some application either trying to phone home or set to access the
internet when you boot the system. If you have Real Player installed, by defualt it is set to check for updates and will often do so when the system boots. If your e-mail program is set to check for mail when the system boots, it can bring up the this window. You'll need to go through your system and look at your applications as anything set to automatically check for updates including antivirus software can cause this. Also, some adware can cause this as well: Download, install and run Ad Awa www.lavasoftusa.com Also, be sure your antivirus software has the latest definitions and run a scan on your system. -- Michael Solomon MS-MVP Windows Shell/User Backup is a PC User's Best Friend DTS-L.Org: http://www.dts-l.org/ "Anthony Chong" wrote in message ...
