Bit embarrassing this...

Messing about with my control panel performance &
options adjust visual effects adjust for best
performance.

How do I restore "adjust for best appearance", so I can
customise the appearance? The classic view has replaced
the category view and therefore I cannot access the
adjust visual effects settings.

Any help would be most appreciated!

Open 'System Properties' through control panel or by right-clicking 'my computer' & selecting
'properties'. Select the 'Advanced' tab, then the 'Settings' button for performance.
