I'm not sure if I can block everything from @wildcat.uuhec.net in
Thunderbird. My menu only seems to give you sender and there are a lot
of senders.

tools
message filters
either select a server, or this group on a server
new filter
give it a name
match when from ends with @wildcat.uuhec.net
action mark read
ok

run selected filter on this group

hasn't the flood stopped yet anyway?

Here is an example.

It doesn't remove headers already in the group list.

It can remove things arriving in the future.

Mine didn't seem to work at first, but the filter
is working now for some reason.

In Thunderbird, go to

Tools Message Filters

and set up a filter for this newsgroup. The filter should look
like in this screen-shot:

Nope.

I change the posts colour, then I manually delete. Thus I see them.
