Default "Get Windows 10" Icon On TaskBar: How To Get Rid of It?

I had disabled Windows Update service and Background Intelligent
Transfer Service, but still wound up with this scary "Get Windows 10"
icon on the system's TaskBar.

This is on a box that I am trying to get working with DriveBender as a
backup for my NAS box and I *really* do not need any more complications
right now - and I am afraid that somehow I will fat-finger that icon and
bring the house down.

So.... how to drive a stake through it's little black heart ?
