using the command prompt

Hello,

Is there a tutorial on using the command prompt to complete tasks?
I understand that it is a lot simpler to use the command prompt than it is
to use explorer to do routine things etc.

Well, to start with, you could open the Command Prompt and type HELP
at the prompt. That will display a list of all of the DOS commands that
still work. "help | more" without the quotes will display one screenful of
data and then wait for you to press a key to see the next screenful.
CLS at the prompt will erase the screen (aka clear); you may need that.
