Win XP Pro Fax Doesn't Track Anything - !!FIXED!!
Yes, that's correct but the console remains static. I have to close it then reopen it to see that my fax was sent successfully.
With the event viewer, do I look under application or system? I don't see anything pertaining to Fax under the "source" column in either the application or system folder. I do see information, error & warnings under the "type" column. Jill |

Then, unfortunately we have nothing to go on. We'd have to log a
transmission to see what's going on, and that' s a pretty labor intensive task. -- Russ Valentine [MVP-Outlook] "Jilljeanne" wrote in message ... Yes, that's correct but the console remains static. Win XP Pro Fax Doesn't Track Anything - !!FIXED!!
I also want to note that my fax monitor did not work from the very beginning. I purchased my computer close to 3 months ago from Dell so the problem is not from a program that I installed afterwards but rather from something that came installed on my compu
ter, I suppose. Like I said in my previous posts, the fax monitor has only worked on two occasions, out of the blue. The most recent being the other day. Then just as mysteriously, it stopped working the next day when I started up my computer. Maybe (if and when) the next time it decides to work or pop up I won't shut down my computer in the evening.
