I have trying to lockdown our store user profile in
regedit. Everything has been going real good, but I now
find that if they (or administrator)try to open the
Recycle Bin on the desktop they get a shortcut placed on
the desktop.

If they try to open Printers and Faxes on the menu users
get a "Windows canot create a shortcut here. Do you want
the shortcut to be placed on the desktop instead?" popup
window.

I have looked all over the Internet and can't seem to find
the solution. Does anyone have any ideas? Thanks.

Doug,

Your application on your website looks real nice, but I
have looked thru the help menu and cannot find anything
pertaining to my problem. Am I missing it?

Tom

Tom,

Check in the Win XP Fixes section, Restore Recycle Bin Desktop Icon. =
While the primary purpose is to put the icon back, the REG file also =
contains a large number of other Registry entries associated with the =
Recycle Bin. =20

And my apologies for the confusion. I misread your original post.
