XP Home won't log into NT 4.0 Domain

In my case the need came up well AFTER I had purchased the computer. What is more infuriating is that MS charges the whole upgrade price $189 to go from Home to Pro. Wrong. No version of Win 9x can join a domain. They can participate in a domain environment but can not be joined as NT based clients can. snip Agree with the statement about Win9x accessing resources of a domain vs joining. The same holds true for WinXP Home. Sharon F MS MVP [Shell/User] |
