When you are as poor as I am, in North Seattle,
your inflation rate was 6.8%/year, 2010-2018,
due to the rental price increase.

How much further will it go up,
given today's massive, sustained "quantitative easing" ?

This freshly-printed-money tsunami isn't reaching the poorest;
like a diabetic, the end result is "amputation" ( detachment ),
i.e. "strays" ( thieving junkies ).

Before long, we can no longer afford rent;
so we move into a tent city, a shelter,
an "enhanced shelter", or a "tiny house village".

A high minimum-wage and high housing standards are snooty;
they remove the lower rungs of the ladder, to keep "undesirables" out.

That's real ****ty. When you move into a tent city you lose all capacity to
post to Usenet. You become invisible to all but those who can see
you.directly, like the police and other adversaries. Homelessness is slow
genocide. With no apologetics for the Nazis, they did not permit
homelessness. Any homelessness people found in the forest were shot on site
on the presumption they were partisans. Is this deja vu all over again?
