Default CAN'T INSTALL HP PSC 1510 (All-in-Onr)

Cannot get Toshiba laptop-Sat. 105-to recognise USB All-in-one. Sees an
"unknown
device in device mgr., says it is 'malfunctioning". Printer prints a self
test and copies docs. from its glass bed. I've uninstalled ports, printer,
reinstalled both from mfg disc, from hp website, from add printer, from add
hardware!

Did you connect this printer to your PC prior to installing the software?
You must install the software first during which you'll be prompted
when to connect it and when to turn it on.
